We're too busy having coffee, children, brunch, nervous breakdowns, or just making magnets, to keep this site properly updated, so please forgive us if some of the stuff here (OK, just about all of it), hasn't changed in decades. If you have some appropriate material for us to publish, send it on (we're NOT going to pay you, but we'll thank you a lot).

Come visit us at the Union Square Holiday Market!!

The market is going on now, every day until December 24th. The hours are:

Mon-Fri: 11-8
Sat: 10-8
Sun: 11-7

Our booth is located in the portion of the market that goes along the west side of the squre, heading towards the area of the Green Market. We are in the second corridor away from the street (Union Square West and 15th st.).

Check out the Front Stoop on our buzzer — that's where you'll find articles, reviews of unusual stuff and whatever else we might come up with. For example right now, among other things, you can explore the iconography of the classical Greek motifs on the ubiquitous take-out coffee cups.

Then take a stroll on The Sidewalk for special items and tidbits like fascinating albeit useless polls, the stories behind the GrittyCity magnet images, and more...(eventually).
